Global Trailer, which has been selling scooters since 2002, has a more solidly established reputation than all other dealers in the field of inexpensive Chinese motorscooters we have found. They have a very good feedback record, a reputation for high quality machines, and their prices are excellent. Realtime chat with a real person is an option on their site and the salesfolk are quite knowledgable. Global Trailer handles scooters from Taizhou Chuanl Motorcycle Manufacturing Co., Ltd (See Chinese Motorscooters), which are considered to be very of high quality relative to other Chinese makes. A complete line of parts is available.
On the downside, the Global Trailer website does not do their product justice. It is poorly written, uninformative, unimaginative and repetitious. Their scooters are DOT and EPA approved, but do not yet have California Air Resources Board (CARB) approval and are thus not yet legally registerable in California (See Legislation-Happy California Shoots Itself in the Ecological Foot.). CARB approval may come in summer of 2008. Scooters from Global Trailer do not have remote alarm systems (See Chinese Scooter Alarms).
The Chuanl Renadon is new for 2008, but its basic design is almost identical to that of the TANK Sporty 150, Rocketa Urban 150, or Yumbo Roadpower 150 (See TANK Motorscooters). Manufactured by Taizhou Chuanl Motorcycle Manufacturing Co., Ltd, the Renadon comes with a number of stickers (pictured) which need not be applied and is distributed by Global Trailer, which has been selling scooters for over five years and has deserved a reputation for quality and support. They say: "Find a better price anywhere and we will beat the price and service!!"
Front disk brakes, drum brakes in the rear, the Renadon is rated as having a weight capacity of only 250 lbs., much less than most touring scooters.
Fully assembled. Residential delivery is an added $30. Comes in Red, Black, and Silver.
The iconic Italian classic design! Very close in appearance to the classic Vespa scooter Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn rode together in Roman Holiday (See Motorscooter Image), the Sicilian 150cc follows closely the classic Italian scooter design, with headlight mounted on and turning with the steering column, and all engine parts enclosed in panelling. Disk front brakes; drum brakes in the back. Oddly, though the illustration is very pink, pink is not listed as one of the color options, though apparently, there are more colors available.
The Sicilian 150cc is sold by Global Trailer, which has been selling scooters for over five years and has deserved a reputation for quality and support.
Fully assembled. Residential delivery is an added $30. Comes in Blue, Black, Silver, White - additional colors available.
The GT Sport 150cc by Chuanl is rated at 12HP, far more than comparable scooters. The 330lbs carrying capacity, however, is less than that of other luxury touring scooters. Disk front brakes; drum brakes in the back. .

The Maui Dreamer from Global Trailer is one of the most affordable scooters to buy and a most economical scooter to drive, with one of the best quality/price quotients we've seen -- even with the $30 residential delivery charge.
This is a 5 HP 50cc four-stroke minimalist scooter with a top speed of 32 MPH (less than many 50cc scooters). Unfortunately, the maximum load is given as 165 lbs! This scooter is for one person only, and in some cases, not even a whole person. Extended warranty is available. Gas tank capacity is 5.5 liters (almost 1.5 gallons). Drum brakes fore and aft.
Fully assembled. Residential delivery is an added $30. Comes in Red, Black, Silver and Blue.
The Torino is named for the city of Torino (or Turin) located on the Po River in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. True to the noble origin of its name, the Torino Motorscooter retains the original classic Italian motorscooter lines and styling. With all engine parts covered by pannels, the Torino reflects a subdued elegance. Despite its classic styling, it is a modern scooter in all important respects including a four stroke engine and stepless automatic transmission. Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, the Torino has a top speed of 50MPH and a maximum load capacity of 325 lbs..
The Torino comes from Global Trailer, which has been selling scooters for over five years and has deserved a reputation for quality and support.
Fully assembled. Residential delivery is an added $30. Comes in Red, Black, Purple and Blue.
The Chuanl Scout 250 has a top speed of 75 MPH and a weight capacity of 360 lbs. Though offically designated a moped, it is absurd to call it one (See Mopeds for a definitive discussion of the subject). The scout comes with a stereo AM/FM cassette deck with built-in telescoping antenna, a locking removable trunk and disk brakes fore and aft.
